How do I configure DC++ with HTTP Tunnel

Hi,

I posted recently about slow downloads and I eventually came to the conclusion that the problem was being caused by my ISP.

As an attempt to solve this problem I downloaded, installed, and paid for a program called HTTP Tunnel (http://www.http-tunnel.com/html/).

Well it solved the problem straight away! No longer am I downloading at 53 b/s! Now I am getting normal speeds like 20 K/s.

But I can't figure out how to make DC++ Active with HTTP Tunnel. Under the "connection settings" field in the Settings Tab of DC++ I have set it as a SOCKS5 and set the SOCKS IP as 127.0.0.1 and the port as 1080.

In HTTP Tunnel I have the box selected which says "No Proxy, only a firewall."

Everything works, but I am passive. Is it even possible to be active when using HTTP Tunnel? Or do I have the benefit of high speed downloads, but the negative of being a passive user?

It's not possible to be in active nad use http tunnel, yes. Not sure why, I don't know that much about http tunnels

Actually I recently read a howto that would let you... but of course since it was an evil client going through a proxy, I will not tell how

Hey, I am having the same error as you had m8. Do I have to pay for http-tunnel ? Because I have a pretty good proxy, and I think I don`t need theirs. Can you help me a little with this, how to set http tunnel up with dc++ ?
