When i am downloading mpg-files or some other video files with dc++ my system start to search as frenetic when trying to play them. Some video files i dont have any problems with but some allmost hang my system. I can for example turn WMP off but this continues until I Turn its process off in task manager...
AAny idea what this is?
I have p4 3GHz. 512Mb ram, winXP. need more spec?

You probably dont have a MPEG2 or AC3 codec installed on your computer. These can be installed from any software dvd player (powerdvd, windvd) or any of the numerious codec packs (only install the stuff you need!!).
Alternatively, you could use Windows Media Player Classic which has all of these needed codecs built in.
