Targeted in the raids were people operating "hubs" in a file-sharing network based on Direct Connect software.

However, no arrests were made.

The warrants were for the hubowners only.

All this shit is making me scared to even run a hub that allows live legal music because knowing these people, they will do anything to win.

It's clear he's really studied the matter closely. Quick hubowners, hide your WMD right away before Bush starts a war against us! (wops, i forgot, we don't have any... ah well, that's never stopped him before)

Also, I don't think any hubs have 40 PB not. 40 TB is not uncommon, but really, what hub (let alone 5 of them) have 40 PBs. :roll:

As anyone would know, some hubs currently share ten times those 40TiB and some more than 600TiB. But that's not the point. The point is to understand what they say. That law enforcement is picking up on the "smaller" networks and that they're going to make it hurt.

Maybe they'll go after torrent soon and send some big bills to the torrent sites and the trackers. Question is if any of these computers are still onshore.
