How does the 'SEARCH' function work? Why I can't do *.* ?

How does the 'SEARCH' function work? Why I can't do *.* ?

Hello.
Can you give me some hints (or links) about how Search function works in DC++?

Why I can't do a search like
*.srt
*.sub
when I want to download only movie subtitles?

Or a special kind of images like *.br4 *.psp ?

Searching for ".srt" doesn't work? The wildcard is not required.

the wildcard won't even work i believe
