If I type a short filename such as:
ID and T
Which is a trance album I am looking for, it seems that the search locks the app itself. It shows results going up by a ton, which I would assume because it is such a common search string, but I can't do anything in the app anymore.
Is this a glitch or what. Is there a setting I can change to stop the app from not allowing me to do anything till it finds about 10000000 results???
Search Freezing

I am only connected to one hub when it happens tho
The hub has about 11000+ users tho. Does that matter
Edit: Well i just joined a hub with 100 users. Search results popped up right away and didn't freeze. Any chance this can get fixed when searching in massive hubs. If i would have had transfers going and searched for this album, it would have been a bit more of a piss off!!!!

I thought I did with that statement. Maybe you missed it. So anyone have any other tips on searching for something like this????? There is no other name i can reference it to, so it has to be short like that.

Well I can't find anything of theirs on sale, except sweatshirts so... Care to have a go at it Mods?
More ideas... Restricting it to audio files still makes it freeze? Cutting down on the size will obviously be of no use. Search by music name? Album name?
In regards to the "bug" itself... if a band decided to call itself "Metal", you'd have a zillion non related hits. I don't see how it can be overcome, no search engine's that smart to figure out exactly what you want.

I understand that it can't decipcher what i am looking for. My only problem is that DC++ freezes or is basically un responsive when you do a search for something that returns massive results. Like if i type in the word "the".
I have to close it with ctrl+alt+del.
That is all i am getting at. Just wondering if it is possible to fix this problem where you are able to cancel the search without having to close the app through windows.
