converting dvd image file to a video file help

ok check this out. i have a dvd image file in the nero nrg format right. i want to turn the movie into some kind of a video file divx, avi, mpeg etc. does anyone have any idea how to do that? im useing alcohol 120 for my fake cd needs. and non of the converters ive tried seem to be able to recognises it as a dvd.
