upload speed

i have noticed that all my upload speeds are very low, and continually drop in speed

uploads always start at about 1meg/s, then almost immediately drop to about 15 kb/s, and from there eventually degrade to <1kb/s, and to 0b/s

is there anything i can do about it, i would like to provide better upload speeds, but i'm not sure i really understand the reasons that dc++ is behaving this way.

I didn't say anything about Shaw in your other thread because it wasn't the topic, but what you're experiencing is most likely a documented Shaw-specific problem. They have been reported repeatedly for throttling peer to peer software, specifically DC. As a paying customer, use their support contact instant chat or phone to confirm.

so does that mean there is nothing i can do about it?
because as it is, it isnt even worth it for someone to download my file list. even if someone manages to finish getting my file list, which is rare, the best they can hope to finish are images. forget music and video
