can somebody have 25/25 slots & be showing a share of over 100GBs open but when you go to d/l a file, you get the old "file can't be found" message---not just on 1 file but Many if not all their files? These are fairly substantial files (movies) & I don't go to "0 share" hubs either because I hate when that happens.

Another maddening message is "could not open target file, in use by another process" (I can be listening to music & nobody has a problem d/l'ing the same file at the same time from me!)

& the Real hair-puller is downloading 1 file for 10 or more hours just to have it cut off at the last 3 minutes or 3% left cuz the user went off-line (can't Count how many times That's happened!) grrr! arrrggh!
There was another P2P prog I used to know, that actually gave you the options to "un-share" your files so no new downloads could occur, but let the active sharing to complete before---

1: closing the program or 2: shutting down your computer completely


Well.........It wouldn't be a Bad idea...........

Because they have removed the files from that folder and haven't done a /refresh.

I don't understand what you're trying to say here... The file you're trying to download is in use by another process - listening to a file while you're downloading it will of course show this message.

Wouldn't that constitute a "fake" share?

If I try to d/l a file from another user & can't, that is the message I get. I can't play a file from somebody else's shares until it's fully downloaded, but if I'm listening to a file from my own shares, for example, it can still be uploaded by another user simultaneously.
