search prob- only get 1 user on each file

Well, new hard drive new problems.
dled dc 0.689 tried both active usin static ip and upnp and had this problem:
when i search no matter how popular the thing is i dont get the file once
with + to the left of it
but i get a huge list in wich i have only 1 user to each file.
when i add the file to dl chache it says X users so i thought that at least the download will be from several users.
but i also can only dl a file from only 1 user at a time.
i uninstalled dc 689, installed 674 and got the same problem.
HELP PLZ!!

It sounds like you are talking about grouping of search results. DC++ does not do that.

it always did for me.
for about a year ive been using this program,
several versions. all always did.

and how do u explain the fact i cant dl the same file from a few users at the same time?

DC++ has never grouped search results in the way you describe. You must be using a modified version. You will need to find out exactly what software you are using.

i mean that im connected to about 8 anime hubs,
im looking 4 som very popular series,
im choosin an episode to dl
and i can only dl it from 1 user
meaning there are plenty of users with the file
but at the bottom where my downloads r runnin i'm only connected to 1 person
and no its not cuz there r no slots.
Just to make sure im dling a 24 episode series
i already dled it to my previous hard drive but it died
so im redling it but i know the files im dling have 30+ users EACH.
i added all 24 to my dl list but EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM is only connected to ONE SINGLE user, and no its not like i have a few lines and in each line i have one user and the same episode.
each of the episodes is mentioned only in 1 line(ignoring about 4 no slot lines) and in that line(with the progress bar) it doesnt say X users but a single name.
