Settings of DC++ - Sharing

Hi,
I am quite new in DC++. My operating system is Windows Xp Home Addition and the version of my DC++ is 0.691.
1) In my "Sharing" I have, so far, included 2 folders, each of which consists of various MP3 files. So, it is not important for a user to know, which songs are included in each of these folders. He simply inserts in the "Search" tab the name of the song he is looking for, and if that song is included in one of those two folders, he woud get it. Therefore, in the "Description" tab of my my Personal Information, I wrote just "Audio - various sorts". Still, in the Settings of "Sharing" there appears a note : "Files appear in the share only after they've been hashed". Could you, please, explain what does this mean ?

2) I would like to add to my "Sharing" a few additional folders, each of which would consist of the contents (in wav format) of a part of a CD. Hence, in this case it is important for the user to know what is the content of each such folder. Could you, please' guide me, how can I make the users know it ?

I also would advise you to convert those tracks into mp3 format, there's no sense at all in sharing music in .wav format. Infact I kick in my hub if users share too much of it.

Thanks a lot for your prompt answer. I thought some users might prefer wav files because of their quality; however, I assume you are much more experienced, so I am going to convert those files into MP3s of 320 bit rate. As to the names of the Shared : I think that where such name indicates, at least generally, what sort of audio or other files are included in it he saves a lot of time to the users.
