my search never return any results

i tried both version of DC++, i used to find everythind i wanted but then, i had to format my computer and now, even when i search for anything from some of the most popular bands like "Metallica" I used to get around 15000 results but now, nothing, and on passive mode, around 100, i have no Firewall, no router, whats the problem ?
