DC++ lags my machine

I'm having an extremely annoying problem with DC++. Whenever DC++ is running my PC is a bit laggy. It's only noticeable in games (jerky movement) or while watching video (DIVX or so). It's best seen on end scrolling credits which do not scroll smoothly but are all jerky. Anyone else has that ?

100% CPU used

I'm having problem with the DC++ too. When my PC stop to work I can see in Windows Task Managment a message " 100% CPU used".
Is there any setting, that I have to make to avoid this and use DC++ without problems?

Is DC++ hashing your files? If not, what else is it doing? (number of hubs connected, total users, downloads, uploads, etc)
