DC won't add folders to queue.xml
Search for folder, download whole directory.
The folder is added to Queue.xml as Directory Target. Then DC downloads the source's file list. Then it removes the Directory Target, but never adds the files to Download Target; the target just vanishes from Queue.xml.
Thank you for helping!

Yes, but not on the 0.674 I have. That's the reproducibility part. Is it the same for all users? Are you sure the directory's contents are not showing up in your Download Queue? Does "Get file list" work from the search results? (It should take you to the directory that has the file you clicked on.)KOJV wrote:It's quite easy actually, it's the same on any 0.674 installation I make.

It's the same for me and my wife. I can't speak for other users.
Yes, I'm sure. I even hardscan the xml configuration. It doesn't add to the Queue.
I can get a File List and even Download from there, then the whole directory will add to the Queue. But it doesn't work if I choose to Download whole directory, right from the search list.

I've tried to reproduce this error too with version 0.674. I can't see the problem. I do exactly as the poster suggests. It works fine here. The files are downloaded.
I also check what is happening on Queue.xml with File Monitor (sysinternals) and it looks fine. (Looking at Queue.xml with an editor as well and it looks perfectly ok.
Is it really standard DC++ 0.674 you're talking about?. Could you check it yourself with File Monitor?

Here's my DCPlusPlus.xml for reference, if there's something wrong with that. I didn't try reproducing the error on a clean install. My email was censored.

Actually, you're right and I'm wrong. And I'll gladly be the first one to admit it.
I've found a directory that when I try to download it, it seems to only download the filelist and nothing more. But I see a difference from your case: I don't see any writing in Queue.xml at all(?). I use WinTail to look at Queue.xml and it doesn't change a bit.
I tested the same thing in 0.691 and it behaves the same so I hope we can investigate this further and have some more people verifying this.

The problem is interresting though. I've noticed that none of the alternatives of direct downloading directories from searchresult works. It only downloads the filelist and then nothing happens.
