only with a few users and every time i get it, it's after a while, not at the beginning of dowloading :cry:

it's your own PC creating that error. Take off your firewall and nforce network controller and reinstall your firewall

don't jump to conclusions....
maybe he doesn't have an nforce network controller installed at all....

and the status messages in DC++ can't be edited by external applications.

i dont have a firewall nor that other thing you mentioned.the messaege i get appears in the green line, where the percentage of downloading is written.
p.s.I only have norton, but i don't think it's causing that problem? :shock:

its nortons.....try uninstalling nortons, run dc++ then if the problem continues...let someone know

yeah but it doesn't show the message with all the downloads, it interupts and shows if after a certain time.for example, i download around 400 mb of a concert, of around 800 in total, and just after 400 something mb, it showed the message, up until then it was fine :shock:

few guesses, eventhough i don't know where this could be coming from...:
- do you have a router? it might be blocking "intensive" connections...
- might also be your ISP
- your hard disk is full?

i dont have a router, i have an adsl modem.the hard disc, well it's not full, but i could use some cleaning except that i don't know how to do that :shock:
