DVD burner problem

Hi, I'm writing this as a total newbie. I bought and installed a DVD burner (Pioneer 105). Everything went fine, but Prassi PrimoDVD won't recognise the unit as a compatible recorder... any suggestions or info on this? Should I take another model or what?

might have a patch for it on Prassi PrimoDVD web site,if it not , it might be in 1 to 6 mount from now,it happen often with new model or non popular drive.

your burner didnt came with software for burning ?
