I get no sound when playing a movie on the divx player!
The following message comes on screen;
The video file you are opening includes audio data that is not recognized by the Divx Player
The file contains the following type of data;
Audio data: Tag 8192
You may need to install a new audio codec on your comp to listen to the audio.
Please help.

You're just missing a codec. Try using a program called G-Spot which can correctly identify if a video file is using codecs that you don't have.

I recently discovered "K-Lite Codec Pack" which released a new version some days ago. I don't watch many movies, but it solved the codec problem I had. It comes with G-spot also.
I don't know if I can post links, so I won't.
