Help needed..

I have a Scansoft Software product.. called Paperport 8.0 SE, I tried to uninstall it.. and I get.. Fatal Error during installation.. what should I do and would there be an easier way to uninstall the program.. ?

The Help/Support section is DC++ related problems only.

Find a good registry editor like Registry Mechanic. Remove the entries for that program manually.

Delete the folder the program was installed in.

Remove any startup entry references from startup (Start > Run > msconfig)

I can only remove the file if I purchase it using Registery Mechanic do you know one that is free?

Well before jv16 become software you had to pay for, its jv16 tools registry cleaner kicked ass.

Oh, they've started charging for it?, I hope they don't do the mistake of overloading it with functions no one needs. This reminds me of the fact that if it's good software the people who need it already have it :wink:
