How to reassemble components of a dvd download

Hey, I am new ok. I have enjoyed sharing files for awhile. I need some help finding info on how to rip and burn dvd's. When they are posted to share, many times they are in a few folders, with one or more support files. Once I download, what do I do to re-assemble? If anyone can describe the process, or point me in the right direction to get info.? Thanks.
