possible exploit?

A fucker that was banned a few days ago is trying to get even and has apparently found a way to disconnect everyone in my hub. Here's the log of what happens. Any ideas?

I did have the flood trigger set to 30, and have moved it down to 10 to see if that stops him.

6) We will NOT condone requesting of copyrighted material in main chat. This includes, but is not limited to, software (warez), DVD rips, movie "screeners", music files and scans of comics and novels.

7) Anyone found selling files downloaded from Iaconhub WILL BE BANNED. This is not negotiable!

I have DSL and my upload is 256. They can't do any higher due to my distance from the phone company.

did it help? have you tested flooding your own hub?

he did it again. Flood setting is at 10. He's using proxys for random Ips. What do you recommend I do to rid myself of him?

A side note...I can't seem to connect to wza.digitalbrains.com from my home, but I can from work. Is my IP banned from there?

DnsBl makes DCH++ take up 96% of my CPU (this is the linux version). I'm assuming it'll go down?

Maybe the usage is a bug. Maybe he's spinning through proxies that quickly.

Can you get an idea which of those are likely the case?

If it's the latter, sed's plugin could be modified to do the equivalent of [url]teergrubing[/url] (in mail server land, it means delaying the responses to the user, making them hang on as long as possible, to prevent them from hammering you - the downside is that if you have whole lot of teergrubing threads open at the same time, that's potentially exploitable too [by running you out of processes].)

I think it's just because it's going through 120+ users, because I don't think this one guy isn't on right now. And When I stop dchpp I have to do a kill -9 on the process because one process is hanging and a normal stop command won't kill it. Here's what I see.

What does your DnsBl.xml look like? Replace the monkeys DNS name with cbl.abuseat.org and see if that makes a difference. (it also uses 127.0.0.2)

Also, remove the easynet.nl section. That should have you running on the same two open proxy lists I use for checking my mail at work - if that was the source of the problem.
