odd messages sent from hub

Post by yakko » 2003-03-02 18:58

I've been getting these messages from the hub today.
[12:51] <-=VectorSigma=-> Unknown command from Astoriacrew 207.172.46.65: $MultiConnectToMe Botimus 207.172.46.65:412 66.93.248.54¦

VectorSigma is what I specified messages the hub sends to be from.

it means you are using my OpComExtra-0.17-1(a).
OpComExtra reports all unknown commands.
$MultiConnectToMe is a nmdc command that is not supported by dch++.
it's the same as $ConnectToMe but requests it to be forwarded to all other linked hubs (which, again, dch++ does not support).

if you don't want to see these messages, comment out the whole dchpp.clientUnknownCommand() function, or wait for a newer version and set the debug_level to above your own userlevel.

ah, so the errors aren't reported to everyone? If so then it's fine. I just thought DCH++ was freaking out.

that's correct
(I see debug_level version was already in -1b)
