0.24

Post by arnetheduck » 2003-05-16 12:03

0.24 for the taking...try and tell me it works (windows!)...it's being difficult this bug, but once it works, it'll be silly fast (according to my local tests with 3000 local users connected...)...

Also, if it stops working, check if it's taking a lot of cpu or memory before shutting it down...

same as 023

chat is possible, but new logins are refused (closed listening socket)

it stopped at ~130 users (running opcom / luascript (no opcomextra)),
cpu was ~0%

It runs for a few minutes on windows in console mode, haven't tried as a service yet, then it refuses connections. When I exit it always crashes. here's the exceptioninfo.txt:

Fired up 0.24 today...like Sedulus noticed, it still refuses connections after a short while. Although when it was doing that to me, I only was seeing one instance of 0.0.0.0:411. Also, unlike when yakko shutsdown, mine doesnt crash :)

So basically, everything inside is working but it's not accepting connections any more? No other problems?

Those listening ones, I assume the hub is listening on 411? I wonder how there can be more than one...
