DCH++ 0.14

Post by arnetheduck » 2003-02-03 12:47

Ok, 0.14 can be found at:
http://phats0.d2g.com/dchpp/dchpp-0.14.zip

Config files:
http://phats0.d2g.com/dchpp/dchpp-0.14-Config.zip

Linux version (no, I won't be making any .tgz:s...):
http://phats0.d2g.com/dchpp/dchpp-0.14-Linux.zip

There's some documentation included (don't trust it, might be out of date), if you don't understand it, ask someone at the dev.direct-connect.nu:1411 hub...

For the linux version, no guarantees made, I've only run it on my virtualpc (mandrake 9.0)...and don't ask me for support, i'm no linux guru...anyway, it binds to all addresses and you must run it as root (for the mac address checking to work...)...also, change the config files so that path separators are '/' instead of '\' and the plugins have .so instead of .dll...

The linux version takes one argument, the network card that I have the mac address for. Example: "dchpp eth0". It doesn't take any of the other options...

Report any bugs here in this forum...also report how well it's going, usercounts and so on...

I didn't realize there was going to be a linux port. I've really been wishing for a good linux hub. Can I get you the MAC address of my Redhat server and test that one?

sure, but then you'll have to wait until 0.16...the linux thing is purely experimental though...

ok, I'll stick to the Windows version for my main testing, but I'm willing to be a ginuea pig for the linux one.
