Well I got better thing to, I'm not here for my own health thought, I came here to help others but if some don't appreciate it, thats ok. my free time is better spend doing my laundry or other things beside snooping around these forum looking for someone to mess arond with. If you express strong opinions that are factually wrong, such as those on the Bittorrent or Piracy threads, you should not be surprised when you are met with more eloquent people who are factually right who also express their strong opinions.

You jumped all over BitTorrent because it didn't work for you.

As for an opinion being factually wrong, it's rather easy, take this for example.

The sky is a pretty brown color.

You have pretty which is the opinion, and brown which is the factually wrong statement.

Personally I like see everyone's responses, regardless if it's factually correct or not, but don't be surprised when someone corrects you.

I can get anime in a 1/8 of the time at 4 times the speed with an 1/16 the effort.

And your won't get a decent speed on bittorrent if your connection is crap.

Bittorent is the logical conclusion to filesharing.
Distributed centralized p2p filesharing where the central tracking database doesn't control what is being shared.
All the advantages with very few of the disadvantages.
and the stubs can be shared on IRC, DC, or the Web
i've gotten them from all those places.

and if you don't like your speeds get the experimental version.

Bit of a contradiction in terms. How can a Centralized server be distributed?

I think what you mean is that its using load balancing to allow all users access to a centralized server but I could be wrong on that one as I have never tried it and to be honest, seeing IRC/Mirc/ICQ thrown about I wont be using it as those networks are nothing but virus carriers and portals for hackers to abuse users and control users PCs, having had someone attempt to hijack my PC and IP address from using IRC to chat, I wont be putting my PC in jepoardy again.

Sometimes the risk does not outweigh the reward, let some other sucker have their PC wipedout by some spotty 13 year old twat that thinks it only for pissing through.

Why these shit headz dont point their efforts towards the guys who are trying to stamp out file sharing is beyond me, I suppose mentality and mental age (not physical) may have a big part to play.
