search window blank

i try searching for somthing and the generated results do not show up in the window. The scroll bar gets smaller indicating that the results are there but i can not see them. I have tried this in both passive, and active mode. i dont htink im running on a firewall.

also, what port should i set it for active mode, i couldnt really figure out a straight answer from the faq.

Any port between 1024 and 65535 will work just fine.

no, the column headings arent vissible,
by the way the version is dc++ stealth based on dc++ 0.241

If the headings have are not visible, they have somehow all been set to width 0.

To fix it, do the following:
1. Close DC++.
2. Open DCPlusPlus.xml in notepad.
3. Find the line containing <SearchFrameWidths> and remove it.
4. Save and close the document.
5. Reopen DC++.
6. Search for something and report back here if it works.

hey, thanks a lot, it works now.
when i opened it up the values in that tag were all set to 0.
2nd time thats happened to me, before i just deleted the whole xml file, and reconfigured my settings
