bugzilla and old feature tracker

If you happen to find any feature requests (confirmed or unconfirmed) in the bugzilla that are also in the old tracker, you're most welcome to close the old tracker item...as a beginning to completely phase out the old trackers...

can't you just remove/empty the old tracker completely immediately
if people really care about their feature, posting it again in bugzilla shouldn't cost much effort
