I think it would be a good idea to purge the Help/Support section. Currently there are 40k+ posts in there. The vast majority were outdated and not relevant at the time the forum went down. They are of even less relevance now.
The newest posts there are talking about 0.668 and 0.670!
I'd vote for a complete purge of the section, but keeping the last x pages would be OK too.

Good idea. I'll prune it back to posts only in the last year, or maybe less. (each prune takes time, and there is a limit on run time of php scripts on this server).
I've also enabled auto-pruning on Support. Anything that should become a FAQ should be saved - but I think I'm going to install whatever FAQ software BSOD wants, but then give all of us moderators access to it. Does that sound like a better system than what we had before?

Sounds like a good plan. I don't entirely remember what we had before (memory like a sieve). Was the DSLReports FAQ the primary one when the forum went down?
Anyway, getting it all under one roof is certainly "a good thing".
