Hi...

When I download a .mpg file I can't add .mpeg files as alternate sources because dc thinks it's a totally different file. Same with .avi and .divx.... Some stupid people even renames .avi to .mpg, but it's still the same file (according to TTH, size and filename).

Please use the TTH instead of filetype when checking if the search match is the same as the queue item.

Download Queue > Right Click > Search by TTH

And if it's autosearching...

Click on the link I gave you. Above the "Additional Comments" text box you'll see a link called "Vote for this bug". Click on that and work your way on from there.

Note that you need to be logged in to vote for a tracker item.
