Connecting to Kazaa and WinMX networks with DC++ ?

Post by Adreno » 2003-06-08 17:08

Would it be too much of a trouble to code DC++ able to connect kazaa and winmx networks as if they were regular hubs?

So, to answer your question with just one word Adreno, yes.

Yeah... um. No, this is a non-sensical request.

If you want Kazaa/WinMX, run them. DC++ is a client for DirectConnect, it's not a generic P2P client.

However, if you think there are good features in either program, we'll be happy to put them on our list of things to do (us = individual programmers hacking on the dc++ source), if they're good.

"hacking" eh?
or is it simply programming, since you're just modifying the code ;);)

Whenever I hear the word "hacking" I always imagine people with axes hacking away at their computers ...

Real hackers used the word before it got turned into script kiddie/cracker usage.
