Hi, chaps
How about adding the "Search for alternates" option to the right-click menu when browsing someone's filelist? So if the user is offline or has changed his nick (but you have the list), you could still quickly search for similar files; currently, it's a tad troublesome. It'd make a very natural addition once you think of it.
Thanks for your time!

I think the “"Search for alternates" option to the right-click menu when browsing someone's filelist, would be useful. When I find some file in a user list which I want search for it, I need to do “Download-> “Browse, copy the file name; and then do a search adding the extension. 4 steps which could be simply done in one
[or I’m just complicating to have a point, and I could do that by simply opening the search and typing the name of the file;)]

Or, if you're downloading it anyway - Download, go to your queue and do a "Search for Alternates" there. It makes the most sense to me to only search for alternates for files you're actually downloading. Agree/Disagree?
(Most = in most circumstances. Of course you can come up with exceptions, but unless the exceptions happen most of the time, isn't the current system good just the way it is?)

Well, suppose I’m browsing a user file list and I find there some file which I would like to download. Before doing that, first I do a Search to verify if that is the most common file size and to verify if it isn’t incomplete or some fake file. After doing that, than I start downloading it.
Of course I do it like I said in the previous post, but I think it would be more intuitive(or not
), if we had that option also available when browsing user list…
Anyway:
Yes it is… Keep it up
