ah, might aswell spin some more on this subject. I would like a "finished download"-sound.. could be triggered when a file reach 100%

I don't get it either
However, I agree that it would be nice to choose the sound. If you have to change the default *beep* you are stuck with that sound in all other applications that use it, no good! I want dc specific sounds, the point with the sound is that I should know that something just happened in my DC++ application.. ofcourse it should be custumizable!

I understand that perfectly. It's just that the original poster was saying they couldn't hear the sound and so I was explaining how to fix that while they wait to see if this feature is implemented.
