2 features i still miss in DC++

First and most important of all.

If you're dlding a movie and the user goes offline, you can do a search for alternate, but when you start dlding the same file from another user, it starts back from scratch, it should resume where it stopped.

You should be able to dld one file from multiple users like kazaa so it goes even faster. I have a very fast connection (fiber) and i never get the max out of it if i can only dld a file from one user

Right click an alternate file and choose "download to..." and select the file you want to resume.

It has been requested many times. Other dc clients support it, but at the moment dc++ doesn't because the developers want to use hashing...and a proper hashing method has not been incorporated into the protocol yet.

This is why many Swedes, some of which have 10Mbit connections have two common practices:

Hang out in 10mbit-only hubs
Share RAR sets of files, instead of their uncompressed versions. (bam, the file is already in 40 segments, so you can have 40 simultaneous downloads on it.)

I'm one of those that's thinking over hashes and advocate them, but the above is a short-term solution to get yourself some lovin'.
