Hello
I would like to be able when I download an avi file to choose to download the first half or the second half of the file
So it will be possible to download from two friends the same file and it will be faster { 25% will be wonderfool]
Then with virtualdub I can easily put them together

This is Multi-sourcing etc etc, you will find it has been discussed many many times, if you care to search.

It is not a multi sourcing but only a two sourcing
It is rather different but two time faster for downloadind a film

Then get your friends to create rar's of the files, then you can do as you stated and in whatever percentages you desire.

That s right but nobody do that with avi files
I really do not understand why you do not want to do that
May be it is impossible or too difficult
It will be twice faster to download a film

Downloading from two users is just a special case of downloading from multiple users. It's no easier to code, and no easier to verify the integrity of the whole file.
If you can produce code to prove otherwise, feel free to.
