A possibility to set the i-net speed above which dc++ won't download (I mean all downloads together - if I set ... 20Kb/s file No.1 is d/l-ing with for example 15Kb/s and 2nd file 5Kb/s...whole transfer cannot be more than 20Kb/s) I'd like to see this feature! I think it may be very useful 'cause not everybody wants to use their whole i-net speed in DC++. My dc++ is minimized and I like to do some thing in the internet.
2nd thing possibility to set file's usage of connection....
I don't know if u understand me well. Dunno if my english is good enough so...
I have connection of 40Kb/s. I set border of 20Kb/s for dc++. I'm downloading 2 files and I want 1st file to use 5% of this 20Kb/s and the 2nd file to use 95% of this 20Kb/s.
Now I think you understand me. It cannot be explained easier.

This feature will not be built into DC++. It is, however, available in various mods. BCDC has a download speed limiter. http://www.bolander.net/htm/tgo/bcdc.shtml

Hmm, well... even for me the behavior in practice is a bit erratic. Each download has the chance to take half of the bandwidth... There's more to it than that, though. Latency plays into it as well, if you uncap sometimes a slower transfer will jump up a couple kilobytes.
Anyhow, BCDC is a good solution, and, unlike NetLimiter, will slow your downloads if you set your upload cap too low. (i.e. NetLimiter is good for people who want to leech.)
It splits pretty evenly in my experience, though:
