linker or library error

hi!
i've vc6, i've all it say on compile.txt, and i've put in the include all the directory i need (before the standard include)

im trying to built exe of DCPlusPlus-0.241-src.zip

without any change

it compile good...
but:
<<LINK : fatal error LNK1104: cannot open file "dbghelp.lib">>

i have this file.lib in my sdk..
i've try to use it...
it built the exe but when i try to execute:
<<Impossibile trovare il punto di ingresso SymFromAddr della procedura nella libreria a collegamento dinamico dbghelp.dll>>

it is in italian... but it say:

Impossible to find the start of SymFromAddr of the procedure into the dinamic linked library dbghelp.dll

i've try to translate it....

what's my wrong???
what i have to do?

just call folders in tools -> options (or so)
select libraries
enter %\LIBS and place it on the top
% is your SDK folder (e.g. C:\PROGRAM FILES\MICROSOFT SDK)

Which won't help, since the version included with the Platform SDK that comes with VS6 doesn't have that symbol.

The solution is to revert to an ExtendedTrace.h/cpp from an earlier DC++ version (0.24 or 0.233, it hasn't changed in a while), or perhaps to download and install the latest platform SDK from microsoft. That will likely have the updated .lib and .dll.

After installing a new version of Windows (Windows Server 2003 Enterprise), re-installing VS 6, installing the latest MS Platform SDK, re-downloading STLPORT, WTL, and the DC++ source, replacing the weird ExtendedTrace.h/.cpp files, and recompiling, it WORKS! Thanks a bunch, guys!
