Breakpoint Problems

Post by Stebo » 2003-09-07 12:26

Hy, I use VC6 and compiled dc++ 0.261.
The compiled client works until i try to shut it down.
When i close the client i get a message:The exception breakpoint. A breakpoint was reached.

In the exceptioninfo.txt i get the following message:
Unhandled Exception
Code: 80000003
Version: 0.261
Os: WinXP Pro
Call stack info:
ntdll!0x77F7F570 : DbgBreakPoint
DCPlusPlus!0x00546D38 : ?
DCPlusPlus!0x0042E58C : ?
USER32!0x77D43A5F : CreateWindowExA
USER32!0x77D43B2E : CreateWindowExA
USER32!0x77D43D6A : CreateWindowExA
USER32!0x77D43DD0 : DispatchMessageW
USER32!0x77D4F58C : DrawStateW
USER32!0x77D6AAAE : SoftModalMessageBox

Does any1 knows how i can get rid of this bug..

i alse noticed that after compiling that the DCPlusPlus.exe is over 3mb. Is this normal...?

Greetz..

You probably have compiled it with configuration "debug", try t oswitch to "realease" configuration. This will atleast help for the file size i think.

Thx dude...It was indeed in debug mode...i switched and now the DCPlusPlus.exe is only 913kb.
I didint had alot of time to test it yet, but it seems that the breakpoint bug is also vanished.....

Thx again

Good, the error did definatly have something with debug to do, DbgBreakPoint = DebugBreakPoint. Must be some error somewhere in the debug configuration of the dc source.
