first: this simple xml, is it a real xml parser and stuff, or is it just looking like xml? and if it is "real" (or close to "real") xml, is this what peolple refer to as dom parser?
second: can i use the whole simplexml class for my own program. i know its opensource and so on but it wouldn't feel rigth to just rip it of without asking the author
edit:
almost forgot; my app is also opensource and can be found here:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/libera and it is also a filesharing client (but it doesn't operate on the dc network

DC++ is released under the The GNU General Public License (GPL) license. You can find more information about GPL from,
http://www.gnu.org/licenses/licenses.html .
Everyone is supposed to download from the hubs, - I don´t know why, but I never do anymore.

It's under the GPL, so feel free to use it. If you like it and make changes and feel like you should do something, just let us know about it, that'll be quite interesting.
