How can I open a Server in a private Network

Which hub software is the best? Where can I find script XXX? Discuss it here...(no, this is not for advertising your hub...)

A Server?, Hubsoft?, what are you talking about. Some specifics please

You probably ask the private network if you are allowed to. ;))
Everyone is supposed to download from the hubs, - I don´t know why, but I never do anymore.

There will be a Lan Party in a week with 800 Gamers.
My Job is to open a DC++ Server so that everyone in the LAN-Network can connect to my Computer-IP and see all others with DC++-Clients.

I only used DC++ for myself as Client and have no Idea how to run a Server in a Network.

Thats my Problem. I cant give any more details because I dont know what Im talking about :)

I'm curious, how exactly did you land this job? Obviously it wasn't due to your extensive experience. Did nobody else want it?
