Network Unreachable Error

Hello,

everytime I attempt to connect to a hub i get a a error message saying

"Network Unreachable [Are you connected to the Internet]"

However I know for a fact that I am connected. Any help on this matter would be very much appreciated.

Do you use a proxy to browse the web?

No I do not use a proxy to connect to the internet.

However, I am in student housing. Norra Spoletorp to be exact. I am not sure if there is a firewall in place, but if there is what would I have to do in order to connect to a hub, and begin downloading????

school i should have ask that question earlyer in the help section.

if it work the same way in passive, there is not much you can do to solve your problem.
unless the admin of your network is a friend of you.
