In my school, we have a bandwidth cap for internet connection. But, the bandwidth cap doesnt apply for intra-network transfers.

There is this dcc hub going, but we're seeing people with outside ip's come in and leech off of us.

how can the hub filter out the users to a certain ip range and how can users see the ip's of the people in the hub?

a physical hub is out of the question cuz the person on the connection needs the internet.

and where can i find a script like this?

1) Use a firewall on the hub to block out external IPs that your InrAnet.

2) use a script on the hub that only allows your IntrAnet IPs.
