How do i setup dc++ to be a server for a LAN?

Im on an ethernet here and i want to be able to use dc++ so that my friends on the same LAN can connect to it and be able to share files between us..

Windows file sharing is just way to slow, so slow infact it freezes my computer up sometimes :\

But when i play games etc its 100% fine!!
Im using Windows XP

I dont want to use this for "over the internet"
I just want to share via ethernet with friends..

DC++ is a client and not a server. You'll need to set up a hub. You can find information on setting up a hub in the sticky thread at the top of the Hubs & Scripts section to which this post is now being moved.
