Autentificatin Using registered Users and Ips

The ideea is that i have to only allow some ips ( about 300 ) and ban the rest of them . how do i do it ? I have opendchub and perl on a linux slackware .

would be a great thing if every user can have his own ip like :
user:password:ip .

If you're running this on linux, take advantage of the firewalling facilities. There should be a howto or two on this topic - if your distribution doesn't include a nifty firewall script and configuration tool.

The firewall should not interact with opendchub , becouse [OP]s or admins
of the hub will insert ips in the config file using a php script .
So better would be a perl script .
