i am trying to host a DC hub on my pc. I am using neo-modus hub v2.0.
I have previously had an ftp and web server running on my pc and both have worked perfectly.
I am using a DSL router to connect to the internet, and i am connceted to the router via ethernet.
i have pinholed the ports through to my private network ip address 192.168.1.15 both udp and tcp.
i am using port 21 ( i know its the ftp port but i was getting warnings from norton when using other ports)
all works well locally.. i can connect to the hub using Phantom DC++ on the same machine as the hub software.
i can also connect using other pc's connected to my network.
the problem is, i cannot connect to the dc hub from the out side world using a dynamic dns system. it has previuosly worked for a web site i hosted and an ftp server.. it just wont work for dc hub..
anyone know why?
cheers
