IÃ‚Â´m just interested in it because i found some hubs wich have 1000+ users in the hublist and in the hub are only about 100 users

dreamland hublist takes so long to update so it will show more or less than whats in the hub at that time

why fake the amount of users lol if i saw a hub with 800+ users in the hub on the lsit and i went in there and there was 200 id leave theres really no point to

actuly the reason to do so woudl be to make it look like theres 1000 users and when they try to connect there told it's full and redirected to a diffrent hub

and personaly i dont think there will be away to stop them from doing it

theres a few diffrent ways

a script can be made to show 1000 users how can you stop that?

theres other ways to but alot harder editing the program

Well, the hublist will have to login into the hub, and check it. Not very hard. It will detect fake hubs in the same way you do.

Sandos: Will the Dreamland list be 'cleaned up' anytime soon ?

It's almost to the point that the first page of hubs listed is totally useless.

I'd recommend banning the fake hubs and those that are being redirected to. Then see how long the faking continues....

The only problem is, that hubs will attempt to cheat that one particular client (hublist) using forged userlist. While everyone else will be redirected to some lame hub.
Maybe we should consider similar rating system for hubs as user rating system or integrate them together. The goal is that faking hubs will never get so high in lists, because they'll be missing appropriate rating.
