To every shared folder it belongs a checkbox, what function are they fullfilling? I've been searching the FAQ, the readme/n00b help and the forum, so please post a link if I skipped it by a mistake!

That's not a feature in DC++, but it exists in several mods.
(checked = share, unchecked = don't share)

( in fulDC the checkboxes got another function - "incoming share directory", which can be configured to auto refresh at a different time rate that the regular share. )
