Dctmp, finished files and incompletes

Ok... this is one of those problems that you have and generally you ignore/don't give much attention to it until it really gets on your mind.

The issue i'm facing is.. I have two physical hard drives, the C drive has the incomplete files temporary position while the F drive has the finished download directory. The core of the problem is that sometimes, some downloads, especially big ones (2-3gb+, talking CD/DVD-images here), finish in DC++, the file "suposedly" appears in the finished directory, but weird enough, it's not THE correct file, somehow it's damaged but it works fine. To top that, the DCTMP file remains in the incomplete downloads folder and if i move/delete the file in the finished downloads directory when i start DC++ it restarts the last megs of the file. What do i mean by that is that if i delete the incomplete and the finished and i redownload the file from the same person it finishes correctly. At first i thought it was the file transfer from the C to the F drive, note taken when the file appears finished it's full sized. Also, what i ment about "broken" file is that the first one is not recognized in some softwares, DaemonTools for one, and the second one, redownlaoded fromthe same guy, same file, works like a charm.

I googled around for quite a while and i also checked these forums for an answer to my peculiar problem.. no specific responce.

Added details: I have a no-loss connection, my DC++ version is 0.674. And also.. DC++ never really closes when i exit it. Just a minor thingy but i thought i should add it. By not really closes i mean at first it continues with the same resource hogging like it was running normally, i'm thinking it closes down all the connections and waits for timeouts or something, but then it remains at 4-5mb RAM usage and just stays there.. i ussualy just Ctrl-Alt-Del task close it after i exit it normally. No issues so far from this.

Any answer appreciated, the thing is that i downloaded something i've been searching for quite a while, at a very low speed, for a very long time (a week or so, 24/7) And redownloading it is not an option.

Later Edit: Forgot to add that "finished" files of this sort show a "file in use" if i'll try to delete/rename it while DC++ is running, maybe DC is moving the file from C to F and by me closing DC too early or force closing it, the file is only half-made?
Also, adding in that if i treat the DCTMP file like a normal file and for example try and load it into DeamonTools, it works fine... but still it's a DCTMP...
