CANT GET THE BLOODLY PRGRAMME TO WORK

Hey, I have used DC++ in the past, but just to try it. I got ride of the programe, and have recently decided to reinstall it. Now it doesn't want to work. I have tried to fix the issues with my wireless and then switched back to direct connection. Now it doesn't tell me anything about my NAT settings just that the 'Download Failed: Connection Refused by target machine. Now I have tried to log on to other hubs, not just the main one which is down right now, and still nothing works, please help me, im dying to download some new music...................
