There are several "fake client detectors", and some of them bear that name: Ragnarok, GeneralBot, and ender's YAMB. However, I believe you're thinking of DC++ Client Detection Mod.

0.181 Client detector...
OP on 2 french hubs, i was wordering if there was no new version of the client detector mod???
I'm still using 0.181 for op, but the 0.25 for the normal use...
If you have a solution... or know a better client that detect versions??

Nobody claimed credit for creating the 0.181 client detection mod... if newer versions have been put out, they haven't been leaked to the general public. At least two people are working on client detection mods of their own (that I know of), but you'll have to wait until (if) they release their version just like the rest of "us."

client detection
im working on one. slowly but surely. if anyone has a list of known pk/lock combos for clients, and would send it to me, i would be eternally grateful
it would certainly speed things up a lot.

Are you or anyone still making one?
I could probably make an list with pk/lock strings for you.
Say yes and I will have one for you by tomorrow or maybe even today...

Those strings are actually quite logical normally... :)
I really don't know how those clients get detected because many hacked versions doesn't appear hacked when looking at lock/pk but CDM still recognizes them.
