i cant connect please help

i cant connect please help

i can't connect to the direct connect network when i want to connect it says

"cannot get public hub list"

and if i search for a hub and try to connect to that one it doesn't work

does it have anything to do with some settings

ive got cable modem what should the pronlem be?

i hope you guys can help me out :cry:

OK, here it goes. If you have trouble with your public hub list, look no further.

Instruction: Open your DC. Open Settings. In tab Downloads, locate Public Hubs list URL, and replace the string with 1 of the following URLs without the > < !!! These are just made to ensure you don't get any whitespaces in the line.

"i dont have a tab called downloads"

only personal info....file tranfers....interface...and connection in the settings

what do i do now

Can you please confirm that you are actually using DC++.
If so, what version?

oooh soz im using the normal direct connect didn't know it was going to be that different

This is the DC++ discussion forum, so it might be a good idea if you were actually running DC++. :D

Actually, I don't think there would be any problem with asking about the original NMDC client, as long as you explicitly state that that's what you are talking about. I wouldn't expect any thorough level of responses though.
