Which hub software is the best? Where can I find script XXX? Discuss it here...(no, this is not for advertising your hub...)

Connection Timeout!

Post by crazy » 2003-06-06 21:28

 I arrived home today to find that DC++ and Hub Software had Shut Down/Crashed. After restarting software I find I am able to connect to other hubs but mine does not connect, I just get Connection Timeout. I updated the hub software, nothing. Registered a new no-ip address, but again, Connection Timeout. I have no idea what else to do..............

Connection Timeout

Post by (CZ)Mesl » 2003-06-07 16:09

I had the same problem. The problem was my provider. He blocked (or slowed down) DC++ (ports 411, 412 ...). I was able to log on the hub, but i couldn´t download ... DC++ was very slow. I was able to use chat only. Nothing more. My provider said me, that DC is used for downloading illegal MP3, programs ... so i changed my provider and everything is OK.
Sorry for my English

I dont think that is it as nothing else has been affected, only the fact my hub seems not to be running?

If it's a hub problem, post to the Hub/Scripts section.

If it's a DC++ problem, post to the Help/Support Section.

This is a hub problem.
