ok sorry but have no idea how to set this up can anyone get me started on how to get started with this and how can i if its possible do i set up a hub for just some friends?

Setting up an hub is not so difficult

I use PtokaX

You can download it at : http://ptokax.sourceforge.net/

As long as you don't post the adress of your hub (or just your IP if you don't have a DNS server) in a hublist, so that only your friends can enter it
